I am so sick of less-than-courteous, one-speed, one-lane drivers. I have never seen so many bad drivers as I see today.
There is the driver who stays in the fast lane going less than the posted speed limit.
Then there is the one-speed driver you follow them through several speed limit changes and they are still doing the same speed.
Let us not forget the driver who wants to control how fast you go and holds a steady speed in a lane. It's their ticket, let them around if you can.
Oh! Have you ever tried to pull onto Santa Fe Drive from Avenue 2 (or anywhere along Santa Fe)? People could move over and let you out, but they are oblivious to using not-so-common courtesy.
I think the DMV person who gave some of the people a passing grade on their driving tests should have to ride with them.
On a busy day it usually takes at least two-plus miles just to get to 50 on Santa Fe. I think people forget where their throttle is. If I have someone behind me who wants to go faster and I can move over, I do.
People on the phone and texting are two huge annoyances. Sitting at a light, light turns green, still sitting there, behind a texter and the one on the phone can't seem to talk and use the throttle until they are off the phone.
These are things I tell the drivers as I'm stuck behind one of them. This time maybe someone is going to hear me. I feel better now.
It only takes a few seconds to extend a little common courtesy. Try it next time you're on the road.
