David Garcia: Note entire 2nd Amendment

Gun control opponents are busy wrapping themselves in the American flag, waving the Constitution and thumping their chests.

You can't just take the portion you agree with. Most accentuate the "right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." However, the first portion of that states "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state ..."

Regulation means rules. And who is in charge of making those rules?

Come on, it's in the Constitution. That's right, Congress.

Now who is in charge of deciding if a rule is or is not allowed under the Constitution? The Supreme Court -- yes, that too is in the Constitution.

The gun and ammunition makers/sellers are laughing all the way to the bank because they know that in four years all the rules may change again. Yeah, that's in the Constitution as well.
