Thunderstorms failed to materialize in much of Sacramento on Thursday. Some spots got a bit more rain than the official Sacramento rain sensor, including .02 at Sacramento's Executive Airport and .11 at Sacramento International Airport.
Redding got more than a half inch of rain. The northern part of the Sacramento Valley did experience thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
