What is wrong with California Democrats? For starters, when they get together at cocktail hour in the drinking holes around Sacramento they really do talk themselves into believing they are responsible for making the sun shine.
They should be mindful that Californians abhor the Legislature in record numbers. The balance of power in California is not a blanket endorsement for the Democratic Party. It is the result of the Republican Party opting to jump off a cliff and shoot itself in the head at the same time.
