It seems that much of our news is dominated by violent crimes or wars and disasters.
I have long felt that when trouble comes, most of our neighbors and citizens are good people. This was demonstrated Super Bowl Sunday. My wife and I were run off the road by an 18-wheeler going southbound on Hwy 99 at 65 mph. We were thrown over the center divider and rolled our SUV three times before coming to rest across the northbound lanes.
Immediately, several good Samaritans were helping us out of the broken windows and rendering aid. Their concern and help was genuine and so appreciated by us.
