Softball and baseball registration to start

LIVINGSTON -- The Livingston Recreation Department will be be taking registration for youth baseball and girls softball leagues on Thursday, Feb. 21, 23 and March 2 at City Hall, 1416 C St. Fees are $35, $55 and $65. Open house coming up for Bristol Hospice

Merced College offers customer service events

Merced College is offering a two-day customer service workshop along with the Greater Merced Chamber of Commerce from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 21 and 28 at the Business Resource Center, 630 W. 19th St. Tickets are $23 and participants will earn a half unit of college credit. De Young Museum trip to be offered by college

SAN FRANCISCO -- Merced College Community Services will hold a bus trip to the exhibit "Rembrandt's Century" at the De Young Museum in San Francisco on March 9. College offers March fitness, cooking classes

Roller derby crab feed fund-raiser coming soon

The Merced Rollin' Roulettes Roller Derby Team will hold its third annual Crab Feed fund-raiser at 6 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Hall, 939 W. Main St. Tickets are $40 per person and include predinner cocktail, dinner, a silent auction and dancing. Go to www.mercedrollerderby.com.
