Sacramento City College has new training tool: a Boeing 727

A retired Boeing 727-200F aircraft is the newest learning tool for Sacramento City College students.

The Sacramento City College aeronautics program was selected by Federal Express to receive the donated plane. FedEx is retiring the 727 freighter, designated “Gideon,” from active service upon its landing today at McClellan Business Park.

The plane’s new home is the Sacramento City College hangar at the park.
