St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Rams placed Titus Young on waivers Friday, just 10 days after claiming the problematic wide receiver from the Detroit Lions.
Young was waived by the Lions on Feb. 4 following a turbulent 2012 campaign that ended on injured reserve in early December, though the team had declared the former second-round pick a healthy inactive for two games prior to the move after Young had an altercation with wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson on the sidelines during a Nov. 11 loss to Green Bay. Young also reportedly purposely lined up in the incorrect spot on the field during that contest, and was sent home from the next day's practice by head coach Jim Schwartz.
The Rams claimed Young the day after Detroit severed ties, but have already chosen to move on.
