Around Town: Heart Fund breakfast at Snelling IOOF Hall

SNELLING -- The IOOF Hall will hold a Heart Fund breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Sunday at the hall. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children and include pancakes, sausage, eggs cooked to order, juice and coffee. Proceeds will benefit the Heart Fund.

MCAG taking Fuentes scholarship applications

SF Giants World Series trophies in Atwater

ATWATER -- The Atwater Police Activities League and the Junior Giants Program will present the Giants World Series trophies from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Atwater Community Center, 760 E. Bellevue Road. Pitcher Sergio Romo has donated personal items for auction along with 2012 World Series memorabilia. The auction will follow the viewing. Barn Dance hosted by Rescue Mission

The Merced County Rescue Mission will hold an old-fashioned Barn Dance at 6 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Hall, 939 W. Main St. Featuring Dave Brown as the dance caller, food and beverages will be available for purchase. Tickets are $10 per person and will be sold at the door. SPCA to hold volunteer orientation on Saturday

Livingston will offer summer coed volleyball

LIVINGSTON -- Livingston recreation officials will be registering teams through March 8 at 1416 C St. for summer adult-teen coed volleyball. Teams will play Wednesdays at the city sports complex. Cost is $105 per team. Call (209) 394-8830 or go to www.livingstoncity.com.
