Snelling Heart Fund breakfast is Sunday
SNELLING -- The Independent Order of Odd Fellows Hall will hold a Heart Fund breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Sunday at the hall. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children. The meal is pancakes, sausage, eggs cooked to order, juice and coffee. Proceeds will benefit the Heart Fund.
NAMI meeting to focus on rejection of care

Fun day with dogs and spay-neuter info
February is Spay-Neuter Awareness month. The Merced Dog Owners Group will hold a day of fun from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the dog park, Yosemite Avenue and R Street. Low-cost spay, neuter and vaccination information will be available. Free dog training sessions, a fly ball demonstration and raffle also are planned. FFA crab feed Saturday at Merced High gym
Merced High FFA will have a crab feed at 6 p.m. Saturday in the school gym, 205 W. Olive Ave. Tickets are $40 per person or $320 for a table of eight. MERCO cycling race and dinner coming up
The 20th edition of the MERCO Cycling Classic, sponsored by Mercy Medical Center, the MID, Italo-American Lodge and Merced Boosters Club, takes place Feb. 28 through March 3.
