All-you-can-eat shrimp
Merced Sunrise Rotary will host its annual All-You-Can-Eat Shrimp Feed fund-raiser at 6 p.m. on March 9 at the Merced Fairgrounds Half Dome Building. Tickets are $40 for a meal that includes shrimp on ice with cocktail sauce, pasta, salad and garlic French bread. A dessert auction and prize drawings to be held after dinner. Call (209) 723-1691.

Love in the Name of Christ of Greater Merced will host a dinner-auction fund-raiser at 5:30 p.m. on March 9 at Gateway Community Church, 353 E. Donna Drive. Tickets are $20 each or $150 for a table of eight. There will be a live auction, silent auction, dessert auction, gift raffle and 50-50 cash raffle. A Day of Service
ATWATER -- Castle Family Health Centers and Soroptimist International of Atwater will host the sixth annual Day of Service from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 9 at Bloss Clinic, 1251 Grove Ave. On tap will be free health screening for children and adults for diabetes and high blood pressure as well as breast exams, vision, hearing and dental checks.
