Students to present oral history project

The Merced County Courthouse Museum will present the Young Historians at Work: Merced High School Oral History Project exhibit at 5 p.m. Thursday. It will run through April 14. School to present 'Little Mermaid'

Hands on Heroes nominations begin Nominations for the Merced County's annual Hands on Heroes program are being accepted. Nominations are due Friday. Those who are selected go above and beyond to improve the lives of children and will be honored at the 10th Annual Children's Summit on April 25. Flutist to perform at Tenaya school

Swing dance classes offered at senior center

Glenn and Leanne Rozman will teach a four-week East Coast Swing class at 7 p.m. Thursdays beginning March 7 at the Senior Community Center, 755 W. 15th St. Cost is $16 for all four lessons. Registration is at 678 W. 18th St. Class is limited to 40 people and women are strongly encouraged to bring a dance partner. Beginners welcome.
