Merced College classes
The Merced College Community Services will offer classes starting in March. Courses include arts and crafts, cooking, fitness lab, lap swim, yoga, Zumba, strength and stretch, fitness boot camp and belly dancing. Call (209) 384-6224.
Chicken-Fried Steak Dinner
ATWATER -- The Atwater Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9946 will host a homemade Chicken-Fried Steak Dinner on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at 1390 Broadway. Band's rummage sale

Sonora Celtic Faire
SONORA -- The 27th annual Sonora Celtic Faire begins March 8 with Family Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a kick-off party from 7 to 11 p.m. The gates open at 10 a.m. March 9 and 10 at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. For tickets or more information, go to www.sonoracelticfaire.com.
