Robert Valenzuela: Economy still bad

Economy getting better? Within the last two months four of my favorite businesses in Atwater have closed. Rizzonelli's, featuring the best Italian food this side of Miceli's in Hollywood and a lot cheaper; Pizza Patron, the best of the inexpensive pizza joints; Sonic Burgers, where they still featured car hop service; and the House of Joy.

I can always find another Italian, pizza and burger restaurant bit nothing can replace the House of Joy which I enjoyed on a weekly basis. What the Atwater City Council does to us on a daily basis!
