The Merced High baseball program will be hosting an inaugural Hall of Fame dinner on March 23 at the Merced Golf & Country Club.

Former Merced coach Richard Juarez will be the first inductee.

The dinner will be held immediately after the Fourth Annual Grant Kuhr Memorial Golf Tournament.

The cost is $100 for the golf tournament and $40 for the dinner or $135 for both.

Entry forms are available on the school website or can be picked up at the Student Body Office or the Branding Iron restaurant.

Atwater High hosting youth baseball clinic

ATWATER -- The Atwater baseball program will host a youth clinic for kids ages 5-13 on March 16 at Memorial Ballpark.

Cost is $20 and includes lunch and an t-shirt. The clinic will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Kids will get instruction from coaches and Atwater players.

Aviators need host families this summer

ATWATER -- The Atwater Aviators are looking for families willing to host baseball players this summer. The Aviators will be bringing in approximately 20 college players from around the country.
