Atwater cheer second at USA Junior Nationals
The Thunder Youth Competition Cheer Group from Atwater placed second among six teams competing in the United Spirit Association Junior National Championships at Disneyland on March 2. The competition included more than 42 spirit organizations with various teams in 31 divisions.
The Atwater squad took second in PeeWee Show Cheer Novice and Junior PeeWee Song Pom. The Atwater Youth Cheer Rookies were fifth in the Mighty Mites division and the Atwater Youth Cheer team was fifth in Large Midget Show Cheer Novice class.
