Regarding "Pleas for animal control efforts," I find officer Kim Herzog's comments laughable. Yes, one animal control officer for a city our size is unacceptable, but so too is the fact that when Herzog isn't sitting at her desk doing paperwork, she's refusing to actually control animals.
My neighborhood has called her several times over an extended period about a roaming pack of dogs. Each time she has refused to capture them, citing various administrative and bureaucratic excuses. Why does the city employ an animal control officer at all?
