Family of woman killed in Merced fire to hold car wash

The family of Lindsea Crabb, a woman who was killed this week in a Merced house fire, will be holding a car wash Saturday to help raise money for her funeral expense.

The car wash is scheduled to be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. near Atwater Glass, located at 302 E Bellevue Rd.

There will be barbecue for a small donation, baked goods and homemade candies. The event will also include a DJ playing family friendly music.

A total of six people were injured in the fire, and two remain hospitalized, according to Battalion Chief Don Roe of the Merced Fire Department.

Investigators still haven't determined the cause of the fire, which was reported just after 5:30 a.m. on Monday.
