Three dead in Highway 108 crash near Jamestown

— Three people died Saturday afternoon in a head-on collision on Highway 108 at Obyrnes Ferry Road, about 6 miles southwest of Jamestown, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck occurred at 3:15 p.m., closing the highway in both directions for more than three hours.

Originally reported as a motorcycle vs. a vehicle, later reports said it was two cars that crashed.
