Hit the pool and play Blue Devil Water Polo

Merced College Community Services will offer Blue Devil Water Polo I (Splashball) from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays from April 8 to May 29. It will offer Junior Blue Devil Water Polo II and III from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from April 8 to May 29. For more information, call (209) 384-6224.

Make A Wish to hold its annual fund-raiser

Make A Wish Foundation of Central California will hold its annual Wishes and Dreams 2013 fund-raiser at 6 p.m. April 13 at St. Patrick's Hall, 671 E. Yosemite Ave. Come for cocktails, dinner, and live and silent auctions. For more information, call (209) 358-2505.

Summer Day Camp offered for children

LIVINGSTON -- Campus Park School will offer Summer Day Camp for children ages 5 to 12. Space must be reserved and there will be many activities, games, arts and crafts, and swimming for $10 per day. Lions Club offering student scholarships

The Atwater-Winton Lions Club will be awarding two Frank Wershinger Vocational Education Scholarships to qualified applicants from the 2013 high school seniors at Atwater and Buhach Colony high schools. Each scholarship will be for $1,000 and will go to students who will be entering a vocational education or trade school upon graduation from high school. Free legal services available for seniors

Central California Legal Services and Merced County provide free legal services to seniors. Clients must live in Merced County, be 60-plus years old and be U.S. citizens. Appointments are available for residents of Dos Palos, Livingston, Los Banos, Atwater and Merced. For more information, call (209) 385-7550.

Farmers Market held behind the fairgrounds

The Merced Flea and Farmers Market runs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays behind the fairgrounds, 900 G St.
