Around Town: Rhythm and Dance Toddler Class ongoing

Rhythm and Dance Toddler Classes for boys and girls age 12 months to 3 years will run through the end of May. Cost is $40 per month and your child should be able to walk to attend. For more information call (209) 722-7897.

Bicycle commission

The Bicycle Advisory Commissioners and interested parties will meet at 3 p.m. on Tuesday in the City Council Chambers, 678 W. 18th St. Call (209) 385-6858.

NAMI board meeting

The next NAMI board meeting and program will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at The CUBE, 480 13th St. Everyone is welcome to attend. The title is "When It All Falls Through the Cracks," part five in a series. Call (209) 381-6844.

Edible landscaping

Easter egg hunt

The Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday at the Applegate Park tennis courts. It will start at 10 a.m. for the little ones with the larger children to follow. Call (209) 819-9050.

Easter sunrise service

LIVINGSTON -- The Livingston United Methodist Church will hold its annual Easter Sunrise Service at 6 a.m. on Sunday at the church, 11695 Olive Ave. There will be a breakfast served after the service and the regular service will be at 10:30 a.m. Also an Easter Egg hunt for infants through 12 years old will be held. Everyone is welcome.

Luncheon, fashion show

The Merced Women's Club will host its April luncheon and fashion show at 11:30 a.m. on April 2 at 707 W. 22nd St. Cost is $8 per person and The Dress Barn will present the fashion show. RSVP to (209) 384-5880 by Wednesday.

Mental health board

The Merced County Mental Health Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. on April 2 at 1137 B St.

Gay Merced pageant

The Owl Empire of Stanislaus County Inc. will present the Mr., Miss and Ms. Gay Merced Pageant 2013 at 5 p.m. on April 13 at the Merced Women's Club House, 707 W. 22nd St. Tickets are $15 and include dinner buffet and the show.
