SPCA offers Easter event

Framed Easter Bunny photos will be offered by the Merced Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Merced Wal-Mart. Photos may be of children, adults and pets. The fee is $5 per photo. There will be Easter-related baskets and gifts for purchase to support the Merced SPCA.

Kiwanis hold egg hunt

The 24th annual Kiwanis Kiddieland Easter Egg Hunt will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at Kiddieland. The Kiddieland Park rides will open at 11 a.m. Call (209) 769-9505.

Day for notary publics

Merced College Community Services will offer Notary Public in One Day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 13 at 630 W. 19th St. The college also will offer Notary Public Renewal from 12:30 to 6 p.m. April 13. Call (209) 384-6224.

Spring symphony event

The Merced Symphony will present its Spring Concert with a reception at 6:30 p.m. and music starting at 7:30 p.m. on April 13 at UC Merced. UC San Diego Professor Lei Liang will meet with patrons and play his "Gobi Canticle" along with pieces by Chopin, Mozart and Dvorak. Pianists Natsuki Fukasawa and Kevin Yang will be featured. Museum's tea party

The 18th annual Tea Party will be April 13 in the historic courtroom at the Courthouse Museum with four seatings from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. This year's theme is "Royal Tea Party." Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. Call (209) 723-2401.

Pitch pipes and pasta

The Golden Valley Men's Barbershop Chorus will hold its annual Pitch Pipes and Pasta Dinner Show at 5:30 p.m. April 13 at United Methodist Church, 899 Yosemite Park Way. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under. Call (209) 383-3808.

Barbecue rib dinner

Cornerstone Lodge 111 will hold a barbecue rib dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 13 at 4246 W. Highway 140. Tickets are $12 each. Call (209) 358-0107.
