St. Alban's Supper Club plans gourmet dinner

Free BMX Ride Nights ready to return soon

ATWATER -- The free BMX Ride Nights start April 15 and run through October. They will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month at Veterans Park. Ages 6 to 17 are invited; bikes and helmets are available at no charge. Sign up at the track April 15.

Class will feature baby hair accessories

Orientation, training set for literacy tutors

Volunteer tutor orientation for the Merced Adult Literacy Program will be at 5:30 p.m. April 16 at the Los Banos Library, 1312 Seventh St., and at 6 p.m. April 22 at the Merced Main Library, 2100 O St. An all-day training will be held from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. April 27 at the Merced Library. Sixth-graders to hold hoagie fund-raiser

Peggy Heller Elementary School's sixth-grade class will hold a fund-raiser from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. April 20 in the parking lot, 201 Lakeview Drive. Cost will be $10 per plate and include pulled pork on a hoagie roll, beans and coleslaw from Uncle Buck's.
