No new details have been released by Merced County sheriff's deputies in a gang-related shooting Saturday that killed three teenagers near Atwater.
The names of the victims, described as two men, ages 18 and 19, and a 16-year-old female, have not been released by the coroner's office. No one has been arrested in the case.
The shooting happened about 11 p.m. in the 9200 block of Westside Boulevard after a group of people approached a rival gang at a party near a residence. Multiple shots rang out after a confrontation, according to Sheriff Mark Pazin.
Two other males, ages 16 and 21, were wounded during the shooting and were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
