Blue Devil water polo

Merced College Community Services will offer Blue Devil Water Polo I (Splashball) from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays starting Monday and running through May 29. It also will offer Junior Blue Devil Water Polo II and III from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting Monday and running through May 29. Call (209) 384-6224.

Church trip to Yosemite

ATWATER -- Atwater Baptist Church's Happy Trails Social Group will visit Yosemite National Park on April 10 via a YARTS bus. Cost is $18 (exact currency needed) and everyone is invited. Call (209) 358-9245.

Boys & Girls Club gala

Merced College Community Services will offer Social Media Strategies on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting April 19 and running through May 17 at 630 W. 19th St. Call (209) 384-6224.

NRA dinner, auction

The Friends of the NRA will hold its 13th annual Dinner and Auction Fundraiser at 5 p.m. April 20 at the Merced County Fairgrounds Pavillion, 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Tickets are $50 per person and include dinner, silent and live auction, special drawings and games. Table sponsorship is also available. Call (209) 725-3445.

Motorcycle blessing

The Sons of Thunder will hold its 10th annual Bike Blessing with sign-in at 8:30 a.m. at Christian Life Center, 650 E. Olive Ave., with coffee and donuts. The blessing will start at 10 a.m. then the group will travel through the foothills to a barbecue at Henderson Park then on to Snelling for live music by Rhema Blues Band. Friends of the library

The Friends of the Merced County Library, 2100 O St., is in need of 2-year-old paperbacks and hardbacks to sell and in April there will be a buy one, get one free deal on biographies and autobiographies. All proceeds will go back into the library for new materials.
