Jan Helms: Complimentary meal

April 5, 2013

April Fools' day in Atwater 2013: On Monday morning, a group of six friends and I were having breakfast at Granny's in Atwater, a first Monday of the month habit for us. When we finished, and ready to pay we were told that a gentleman and his son had already paid for our meals.

The waitress did not know their names; the son had beautiful eyes.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity. It is great to know that there is still a spirit of giving and caring alive in this troubled world.

Thank you from all of us; may God bless you and your families.
