4th annual Blues Show set at Club Mercedes

Club Mercedes will hold its fourth annual Blues Show, Day of the Divas, at 5 p.m. Friday at the club, 569 W. Ninth St. Tickets are $10 and you must be 21 to attend. Food and beverages will be available at an extra cost. Mike Hammar and the Nails, Mother Teresa, Cynthia Huddleston and Cheryl Miller-Haupt will provide entertainment. Mr., Miss and Ms. Gay Merced Pageant 2013

The Owl Empire of Stanislaus County Inc. will present Mr., Miss and Ms. Gay Merced Pageant 2013 at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Merced Women's Club House, 707 W. 22nd St. Tickets are $15 and includes dinner buffet and the show. Merced College Community Services will offer notary public in one day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at 630 W. 19th St. The college also will offer notary public renewal from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Call (209) 384-6224 for more information.

Merced Symphony holds Spring Concert

The Merced Symphony will present its Spring Concert with a reception at 6:30 p.m. and the concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the UC Merced campus. UC San Diego professor Lei Liang will meet with patrons and he will introduce his Gobi Canticle along with Chopin, Mozart and Dvorak, pianists Natsuki Fukasawa and Kevin Yang. Courthouse Museum's 18th annual Tea Party

The 18th annual Tea Party will be held in the historic courtroom at the Courthouse Museum with four seatings from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and this year's theme is Royal Tea Party. Tickets are $15-adults and $10-children 10 and under. Call (209) 723-2401 for more information.
