Gospel concert tonight

Jeff and Sherri Easter in concert will take place at 7 tonight at the Christian Life Center, 650 E. Olive Ave. The show will feature a live band playing gospel music with a country flair. Health fair planned

LIVINGSTON -- The Livingston Medical Group and the Lions Club will hold their annual Community Health Fair from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 1140 Main St. There will be many information booths, dental and eye exams, and screening for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose and more. Habitat orientation

A volunteer orientation for Habitat for Humanity of Merced County will take place at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2916 N. McKee Road. Board members also are needed. A group of volunteers will be working Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon on a project at 195 S. T St. To help, call (209) 723-2671.

Chukchansi casino trip

The Italian Catholic Federation will offer a trip to Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino. The bus will depart at 9 a.m. Monday from 23rd and M streets. Cost is $31 per person. There will be refreshments and a free raffle on the bus. Call (209) 383-4819 or email Natalinas@comcast.net.

Castle museum brunch

ATWATER -- Castle Air Museum will hold its 18th annual Strawberry Waffle Brunch from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 5 at 5050 Santa Fe Drive. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children under 5. The ticket price includes admission to the museum. Call (209) 723-2182.

Mother's Day Dance

Vendor fair at McSwain

The McSwain Community Club will hold a vendor fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 11 in the gym at McSwain School. The public is invited for a day of shopping, fun and food. There will be many gifts to purchase for Mother's Day and lunch will be available. Call (209) 354-2700.
