Seats remain available for the inaugural Merced College Hall of Fame dinner this Saturday night at the entrance to Stadium '76.
The inaugural class will have 11 inductees -- five coaches and six athletes. The ceremony will run from 6-9 p.m. and includes dinner. Tickets can be purchased for $40 per person or $400 for a table. For more information contact athletic director Steve Cassady at (209) 658-1659.
CV Wrestling Club has open enrollment
The Central Valley Wrestling Club Merced is holding open enrollment for all area boys and girls, ages nine and up.
Beginning, Advanced and Middle School-Elite Sessions are available five days a week with small class sizes for individual instruction.

Aces in the air
Spring has brought out the best of some locals' game at the Merced Golf & Country Club.
Richard Hand (No. 6 ), Paul Ybarra (No. 17), Doug Choquette (No. 17) and Ted Dietz (No. 17) have all recorded hole in ones over the last month and a half.
The ace marked the 17th of Choquette's golfing career.
