Merced High welcomes the Class of 2017

Merced High School will hold a barbecue to welcome the Class of 2017 students from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the quad-cafeteria area, 205 W. Olive Ave. Students there can sign up for clubs, meet the staff, interact with Link Crew students and more. Call (209) 385-6465 for more information.

Spring Street Fair on way in Livingston

National Day of Prayer event in Atwater

Two observances set to mark prayer day

Two annual Christian observances of the National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. at Bob Hart Square and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Courthouse Park. Group plans Lighthouse Preservation Luncheon

Mental Health Board will meet in Planada

Merced County's Mental Health Board will meet from 3:30 to 5 p.m. May 7 in Planada at 9167 Stanford Ave. The public is invited to attend.
