Beginning obedience classes are forming for all dog breeds. Classes run six weeks and are held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Applegate Park near the fountain and rose garden. Merced getting ready for Cap and Town 2013

The city is gearing up for Cap and Town 2013, Merced's biggest outdoor celebration and block party. It will be from 5 to 10 p.m. May 17 on Main Street, from M Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
