Annual Community Safety event in Hilmar

HILMAR — GDI Insurance Agency will hold its third annual Community Safety Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hilmar Cheese Co. Visitor Center Park, 9001 Lander Ave. This is a free, family friendly event with games, prizes, food and information as well as resources provided by local and regional organizations. Los Banos Basque Club

LOS BANOS — The Los Banos Basque Club will hold the Basque Festival and Picnic from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Los Banos Fairgrounds, Fourth and F streets. Mass with the Rev. Mike Lastiri is at 10 a.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Lunch, dancing and various contests are included in the price of admission. SPCA yard sale ahead

The SPCA will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 31 and June 1 at 690 Bobwhite Court. They will have gently used glassware, furniture, small appliances, exercise equipment and more. All proceeds will benefit the SPCA no-kill adoption center. call (209) 384-7722 or (209) 723-8953.

2013 school day camp

LIVINGSTON — Campus Park School in Livingston will offer Summer Day Camp for children ages 5 to 12 this summer. Space must be reserved, and there will be many activities, including games, arts, crafts and swimming for $10 per day. Camp will be from from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Senior Social Club

The Merced Senior Social Club meets every Friday at 9 a.m. at the Senior Center, 755 W. 15th St. There are many activities. All seniors and guests are welcome. Those interested in joining should come visit, or call (209) 383-6057.
