Pat Trieweiler: 'Knock-off' Jihad?

May 19, 2013

Vice President Biden described the Boston bombers as "knock-off Jihadists." I don't understand what that means. Does that mean they differ from your standard, run-of-the-mill, garden variety Jihadist?

That's making a quick conclusion without generating facts.

Considering he made this claim so quickly after the bombing is puzzling. How can he make such a statement without a more thorough investigation? These kinds of hasty conclusions can bring about tall tales like blaming Benghazi on a viral video, creating a spontaneous riot.

Russian intel may differ from Biden's knock-off theory. They did suggest we give Tamerlan Tsarnaev at least a little look, didn't they? Considering some of these bombers' friends tried to dispose of evidence suggests they may not have been just two lone wolves.

Biden might consider waiting a few months and see what the investigation comes up with, before formulating his next hypothesis. I realize that may be difficult since Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was so quickly mirandized, but get the facts first. Getting it wrong creates inaccuracies and is an embarrassment.
