BMX Ride Nights

ATWATER — The free BMX Ride Nights started April 15 and run through October. They will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month at Veteran's Park. Riders between ages 6 to 17 are invited. Bikes and helmets are available at no charge.

SPCA yard sale

The SPCA will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Saturday at 690 Bobwhite Court. It will features gently used glassware, furniture, small appliances, exercise equipment and more. All proceeds benefit the SPCA no-kill adoption center. call (209) 384-7722 or (209) 723-8953.

Health Fair for Seniors

The Fall Prevention and Restorative Movement Health Fair for Seniors will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Applegate Park. There will be many demonstrations and lunch can be purchased. Call (209) 385-7550 or (209) 827-1960.

Teachers gather

The California Retired Teacher's Association will host its yearly memorial meeting and luncheon at 10 a.m. Monday at Lake Yosemite at the Fish and Game Building. Call (209) 358-9061.

MJC cheer tryouts

Summer Book Club
