Entertainment abounds at Merced County Fair

Several groups set to rock outdoor stage

June 16, 2013

— There's always a lot to do at the Merced County Fair, and this year will be no exception.

From livestock shows and rodeo events to creative crafts and thrilling rides, the choices are many and varied.

The same is true when it comes to entertainment.

Whether it's the concert series headliners or other acts performing throughout the 2013 Merced County Fair's five-day run, this year's lineup promises to keep the fairgrounds hopping.

The free Outdoor Theatre Concert Series opened with Christian rock group Rhett Walker on Wednesday.

Pablo Cruise, a '70s and '80s rock-pop group, will followed on Thursday.

Country singer Jason Michael Carroll will perform today.

Journey cover band Evolution will rock the stage on Saturday. And the entertainment wraps up Sunday with Mexican singer Korina Lopez on the fair's final night.

All concerts start at 8:30 p.m. And there are plenty of other entertainment options if you can't make it to the concert series.
