Allan R. Schell: Tea party movement had it right all along

June 18, 2013

Well, well, well! Look which organization has been vindicated again.

The tea party movement was started spontaneously by a group of plain citizens across the United States. Their basic platform was and is that the government has become too large, taxation is out of control and our basic freedoms are under attack by politicians who do not support our Constitution.

Even some Democrats along with RINO Republicans are a little uncomfortable these days with the scandals surrounding Benghazi, the Internal Revenue Service, and The Associated Press.

All who have supported Obamacare must really be reassured that the IRS will administer the giant, overly complex "benefit program" fairly or efficiently.

If you do not detect my sarcasm, let me clearly state that I have no faith in either the federal or California governments to act responsibly and in the best interests of the citizenry.

The sad fact is that regardless of whom you voted for, we will all suffer the consequences together. Let us pray!
