Calvary Temple Church holding fireworks sale

The Calvary Temple Church will hold its Fourth of July fireworks sale Friday through July 4, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., at 2740 N. Highway 59. Proceeds will benefit Kids Camp and Food Ministry.

Livingston announces youth football sign-ups

LIVINGSTON — Sign-ups for Competitive Youth Football will be taken from 6 to 7 p.m. July 9 at Geneo's Pizza, 307 Livingston Cressey Road. Participation fee is $200, with a $40 down payment. Fund-raisers are available to offset cost or parents can set up a payment plan. Players must be between 7 and 14 years old by Aug. 1; no high school students. Rotary seeks donations, help for Field of Honor

The Merced Sunrise Rotary Club will fly hundreds of U.S. flags on Veterans Day at Merced College. Flags are for sale for $35 each, and will recognize individuals, veterans, active-duty military and first responders. Volunteers also are needed to plan and staff the event.
