Art Sortini: Show compassion in this heat

July 7, 2013

So here we are in the middle of summer and it's hot. Really hot.

One can get used to the heat a bit, but over 100 degrees sometimes all one can do in the hell oven baking Venus blazing inferno is to sweat uncomfortably.

That's why it's important that the homeless have water.

Everyone should have a few huge water bottles in their car at all times in case you see a homeless person, simply make sure they have water, and if they don't, give them some. I have given water to those extremely appreciative and to those a bit mentally ill and worn who almost didn't realize the gravity of the necessity of water in this heat.

So spend a few bucks and show some crucial compassion.
