Around Town: Youth summer camp

The Boys and Girls Club of Merced County will hold a summer camp for children in first through eighth grades from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or noon to 5:30 p.m., for $40 per week, or 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for $75 per week, at 615 W. 15th St. Registration forms are available at the club. Atwater meal program

The Atwater summer meal program sponsored by the Atwater Elementary School District is under way. Anyone 18 years of age or under can get a free meal at the following Atwater locations and times:

• Mitchell Elementary, 1761 Grove Ave., Monday to Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to noon

• Liberty Fellowship Church, 1800 Juniper Ave., Monday to Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to noon

• Atwater Community Center, 760 E. Bellevue Road, Monday to Thursday, 11:35 a.m. to noon

• Heller Park, 1450 Herman Ave., Monday to Thursday, 12:05 to 12:25 p.m.

Youth football sign-ups

LIVINGSTON — Sign-ups for Competitive Youth Football will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Geneo's Pizza, 307 Livingston-Cressey Road. Cost is $200 with a $40 down payment. Fund-raisers will be held to help offset the cost or a payment plan can be arranged. Players must be between the ages of 7-14 by Aug. 1, no high schoolers. Hawaiian hula workshop

The South Pacific Dance Company will hold a Hawaiian Hula Hale Workshop for children ages 8 to 12 at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 2400 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Call (209) 726-1925.

Annual OC Viejitos Show

SANTA NELLA — Hotel Mission De Oro will hold its annual OC Viejitos Show on July 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. On tap are a classic car show, raffle prizes, music, food, kids booths, free face painting and more. Call (209) 426-4444.

Hamburgers in Atwater

ATWATER — Hamburger Night is every Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Atwater Veterans of Foreign Wars post, 1390 Broadway.
