UC Merced exhibit highlights Sierra Nevada project workA reception for a new exhibit "SNAMP: Learning to Implement Adaptive Management in the Sierra Nevada," is scheduled to take place 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at UC Merced's Kolligian Library. Information will be presented about the work of the six Sierra Nevada Adaptive Management Project teams: Water, Fisher, Spotted Owl, Fire & Forest Ecosystem Health, Spatial, and Public Participation. 'Peanuts'-inspired play opens this month at Merced CollegeThe Merced College Theatre Society is scheduled to perform Bert V. Royal's "Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead" at 7:30 p.m. July 17-18 and July 24-25 at the Merced College Theatre, 3600 M St. in downtown Merced. According to the group's Facebook page, the play imagines characters from the popular comic strip 'Peanuts' as teenagers.
