Stephanie Van Dyken: Thanking her 'angels'

July 18, 2013

Let's hear it for the nurses! I just want to give a big thank-you shout out to Claire and Nancy. These two ladies administer chemotherapy treatment at Mercy Cancer Center in Merced.

They walked me through my treatment after I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. I have to admit getting chemo is no fun, but these ladies helped me every step of the way.

They display incredible compassion for their patients. They were my ray of sunshine on chemo days! Truly, they make a huge difference in the lives of so many.

Thank you again, ladies. You were my angels during the darkest of days. I will never forget you.
