Henna Hundal: Heartwarming way to help children

August 1, 2013

As we journey through daily life, it's important to never lose sight of the fact that small acts leave lasting impacts.

Your article, "Target, The Salvation Army team to give Merced children back-to-school shopping spree," exemplifies the magnitude of such a statement when it comes to fruition right here in our communities.

I can only imagine the smiles on those children's faces as they suited up for the new school year.

Being a kid and navigating your way around is hard enough without having to worry about how to make do with long outgrown shoes and clothes.

Kudos to The Salvation Army and Target for coming together to fuel some positive change.
