Red Dog Ash at the mall

Open mic at coffee shop

Check out talent at show

Performances for the "Merced's Got Talent" show are scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. today and Saturday at the Merced Boys and Girls Club, 615 W. 15th St. The finale is scheduled for Aug. 29 (time to be announced). Album release show

Reno-based Buster Blue is scheduled to hold an album release show at 9 p.m. Saturday at The Partisan, 432 W. Main St. Also performing will be Strange Vine. Tickets are $7 at the door; ages 21 and up only.

Rockers at The Partisan

'Les Miserables' nearing
