Backpack drive makes a difference for children

I want to give a big thank-you for so many children starting the school year with supplies, clothing and a backpack. Buying all that can be hardship for parents or guardians. We want to thank Sen. Anthony Cannella for recognizing this and organizing the first Planada backpack drive that provided backpacks full of supplies for more than 500 children at Planada Elementary School.

It was amazing how Cannella, Supervisor John Pedrozo and other caring people came together to collaborate for Planada children, making a difference in children having a great start to school.
