Gov. Jerry Browns decision to sign off on Assembly Bill1266, the transgender bathroom bill, is a horrible example of nanny-state leadership. I am sick and tired of individuals like Brown and Michael Bloomberg, who not only want to tell us how to eat and drink, but now want to direct us on which bathrooms and showers we choose to use.
I believe in keeping it simple. Boys with the proper tools should use the boys room. What they feel like emotionally does not fit into the equation.
As for individual rights, who speaks for the young woman who would feel embarrassed and uneasy using a public bathroom or shower with a young man? Shouldnt her thoughts and feelings be considered?
This is another example of big-government social engineering. It lacks any common sense and opens a huge Pandoras box of problems. Gov. Moonbeam Brown strikes again.
