Christmas Cantata

The Livingston United Methodist Church will be having its annual Christmas Cantata 10:30 a.m. Dec. 15 in the sanctuary at 11695 Olive Ave. Come join us for the telling of the Christmas story through music and narration, using the talents local children and the church choir. This holiday celebration is free and open to the public.

Neuropathy Support Group

The Merced Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group will meet from 1 to 2 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Hoffmeiser Center, 1920 Canal St., Merced. If your toes, fingers and, or feet and hands tingle or feel numb you, might have peripheral neuropathy. An open forum discussion will be held, with informational handouts available. Merced Garden Club

The Merced Garden Club will meet at 1 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Fish and Game Building, Lake Yosemite. Member Joyce Stillman will lead a workshop on holiday swags and centerpieces. Unwrapped gifts will be collected for the Valley Crisis Center. For information, call (209) 383-6287.

Fundraiser at Club Mercedes

Club Mercedes will have a dine-in or take-out dinner fundraiser Saturday at 569 W. Ninth St. in Merced. The price is $8 per plate. The meal includes two tostadas, beans, rice and salsa. The club lounge will open at 2 p.m. and the dinner will be from 5 to 7 p.m. No early-bird diners will be allow at this event. The dinner is open to the public. For information, call (209) 383-9906.

SPCA Holiday Home Tour

Four decorated homes and the Vista Ranch and Cellars will be on the Merced SPCA’s annual Holiday Home Tour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. A lunch, gift baskets and raffle prizes, including a bicycle, diamond necklace and an original watercolor painting, will be available for purchase at the Vista Ranch. Tickets cost $15 and can be obtained in Merced at Maciel & Co. in the Merced Mall, Christina’s Fine Clothing in the Galleria shopping center, Wash 'N' Wag on Santa Fe Avenue, Rabobank on M Street, A Blooming Affair Floral in downtown; and Expressions of Love Floral in Atwater. Support Merced arts

Supporters of the arts can donate $1 or more to benefit the Arts Council’s programs at J & R Tacos, Coffee Bandits, 17th Street Public House, The Partisan, A Blooming Affair, Five Ten Bistro, Merced Antique Mall and Toni’s Courtyard Café. Ask the cashier about the program. All proceeds go to the Merced County Arts Council.
