Newark, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - Chris Obekpa's free-throw with two seconds to play was the difference as the St. John's Red Storm escaped with a 68-67 victory over the Seton Hall Pirates in a Big East clash at the Prudential Center.

D'Angelo Harrison scored 12 points to lead St. John's (16-9, 6-6 Big East), which has won four straight. Obekpa, Rysheed Jordan and Sir'Dominic Pointer all added 10 points.

Fuquan Edwin netted a game-high 25 points for Seton Hall (13-12, 4-8), while Patrik Auda tacked on 15. The Pirates have lost four of their last five.

Seton Hall was able to take a 38-33 lead into the locker room. The Pirates hit on 47.1 percent from the floor and had eight more field goal attempts than St. John's in the first half.

The Red Storm clawed their way back in the second half by connecting on 52.4 percent from the floor and 13-of-15 from the free-throw line. A dunk from JaKarr Sampson tied the game at 67-67 with 1:32 to play. The Pirates had two chances to take the lead in the final minute, but Sterling Gibbs missed a layup and Edwin was off the mark on a 3-pointer. Obekpa collected the rebound off of Edwin's miss with 19 seconds left and ended up sinking the game- winning free-throw just before time expired.

Seton Hall lost despite outscoring St. John's, 28-8, off of turnovers.
