Dancers from some of the area’s best-known dance studios will perform at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Merced College Theater. Dance Kaleidoscope features young dancers from Denisa’s School of Dance, Mariposa Academy of Performing Arts, Merced Academy of Dance, STEPS Dance Studio, the Dancer’s Studio, the Merced Belly Dance Company, and the South Pacific Dance Company. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for Associated Students of Merced College card holders, children under 12 and seniors. Tickets can be purchased at Peraino’s, Bear Creek Galleria, Passadori’s in Atwater, Gottschalk Music, the Merced College Bookstore and the Merced College Theater box office one hour before the show. The Merced Flea and Farmers Market is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. behind the fairgrounds, 900 G St. EBT is accepted.

Remedy performs at the Star Club, 1331 W. Main St., Merced, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. There is no cover charge. You must be at least 21 years old to enter.

Sunday

A dance featuring the music of Just Friends will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at Merced Community Center ballroom, 755 W. 15th St. Cost is $8 at the door. Doors open at 1 p.m. For more information, call (209) 723-0839.

Valley Farmers Market is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2877 Atwater Blvd., Atwater. EBT is accepted.

Monday

Buhach Farmers Market is open every Monday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4814 Clover Ave., Atwater. Take the Buhach Exit off Highway 99. Lots of vendors on site.

Tuesday

Le Grand Certified Farmers Market runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays on Washington Street and Le Grand Road, next to Pizza Factory.

Blues singer and guitarist B.B. King performs at 7:30 p.m. in Mary Stuart Rogers Theater in Modesto. For more information, visit www.galloarts.org.

Wednesday

Merced County Certified Farmers Market is every Wednesday at the Promenade Shopping Center on the corner of Yosemite and Paulson avenues, Merced. Hours are 8 a.m.-noon.

Buhach Farmers Market is open every Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4814 Clover Ave., Atwater. Take the Buhach Exit off Highway 99.

8-ball competition at the R-Bar, 1603 V St., Merced, every Wednesday night. Sign-ups at 6 p.m., game starts at 7. Twenty players only, $5 buy-in.

Jam session from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. at the Star Club, 1331 W. Main St., Merced. There is no cover charge. You must be at least 21 years old to enter.

Friday

Weaver Performing Arts’ production of “Aladdin Jr.” is at 1 and 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 and March 1 at the Merced Theatre, 301 W. Main St. Tickets are $8 each and can be purchased at the Merced Theatre box office, Farmdale School, Pioneer School or Weaver Middle School.
