Merced County Certified Farmers Market is from 8 a.m. to noon at the Promenade Shopping Center on the corner of Yosemite and Paulson avenues, Merced.

Buhach Farmers Market is from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4814 Clover Ave., Atwater. Take the Buhach Exit off Highway 99.

Eight-ball competition every Wednesday night at R-Bar, 1603 V St., Merced. Sign-ups at 6 p.m., game starts at 7. Twenty players only, $5 buy-in.
