Police Reports (6/25/14)

From June 8 through June 14, the Chowchilla Police Department responded to a total of 491 calls. There were 328 calls for service and 163 self-initiated calls. Fifty-two reports were taken during this seven-day period. There were five misdemeanor and four felony arrests. The following is a sample of calls for the week.

June 8

• Vandalism was reported in the 500 block of Kings Avenue.

• A burglary was reported on Road 151/2.

• Vandalism was reported in the 600 block of Riverside Avenue.

• An animal control report was taken in the 400 block of Lake Avenue.

• A court order violation report was taken at the police department.

• A robbery was reported in the 1300 block of West Robertson Boulevard

• A threat report and an assault with a deadly weapon report was taken in the 1500 block of West Robertson Boulevard.

June 9

• A domestic assault report was taken in the 300 block of Humboldt Avenue.

• Vandalism was reported in the 100 block of North 11th Street.

• A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Riverside Avenue.

• A man was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 500 block of South Third Street.

• A man was cited and released for a misdemeanor warrant on Avenue 231/2.

June 10

• A found property report was taken in the 600 block of South 14th Street.

June 11

• A theft was reported in the 100 block of South Eighth Street.

• A burglary was reported in the 400 block of Lake Avenue.

June 12

• The theft of a vehicle was reported in the 500 block of South Fourth Street.

• A woman was arrested and transported to the Madera County Jail for sales of narcotics in the 400 block of Lake Avenue.

• A burglary was reported in the 300 block of Monterey Avenue.

• Vandalism was reported in the 1000 block of South Third Street.

• A general incident report was taken in the 500 block of Riverside Avenue.

• An animal control report was taken in the 100 block of South First Street.

• A violation of a court order report was taken in the 200 block of North Ninth Street.

June 13

• A female subject was arrested and transported to the Madera County Jail for driving while intoxicated on West Robertson Boulevard.

• Vandalism was reported in the 600 block of North 15th Street.

• A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Kings Avenue.

• A found property report was taken on South Second Street.

• A sexual assault was reported in the 1400 block of Kings Avenue.

• A burglary was reported in the 300 block of Monterey Avenue.

June 14

• An assault report was taken in the 1400 block of Trinity Avenue.

• An assault report was taken in the 400 block of Alameda Avenue.

• A theft was reported in the 700 block of Orange Avenue.

• A woman was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Madera County Jail on Avenue 231/2.

• A court order violation report was taken in the 100 block of Kings Avenue.

• A found property report was taken on South Second Street.

• A man was cited and released in the 100 block of North Eighth Street on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
